Strength Through Prayer

How many of you truly discovered prayer when your children and you prayed to the Heaven's to just miracle you out of some jam that was going to get you in trouble? You're not alone, most people have prayed for a "way out" of situations and then missed it when their prayers were answered, instead deciding that their prayers weren't heard.

Prayer can make you strong. If you're a woman in a bad relationship, don't pray for someone to come rescue you like a prince on a white horse; prayers don't work like that. However what might come to pass is that the Divine will send someone into your life that will help you see that you are in a bad relationship that is stunting your growth as a human and you need to move on and they may even open doors to education or employment for bettering yourself that will allow you to do. And even after all that some people will say, "God doesn't listen" when in fact, you're heard loud and clear - you just don't always get the easy answer that you wanted.

If you have money woes, praying to win the lottery isn't going to do it. Again, pray for a way to be show to earn your money. You might suddenly find someone that is willing to pay for something you've only done as a hobby up until that point and a new direction for income will be opened to you.

The Divine wants us to grow as people, and we can only do that through lessons learned and doing everything the easy way won't do it for us. Instead of asking for the easy way out of everything and assuming your prayers weren't heard, ask for a way to be shown and if you're willing to work, the path for clearing up whatever woe you have will be shown to you - just be ready to walk that path!

Make the Time

Now is the time to make the time. If you have a busy day and your child keeps asking and asking for your time, and you keep saying, "In a minute"; the time is now to make the time.

If you haven't had time to meditate and pray; make the time to do so. You'll find your stress melts away and you'll feel more collected and whole when you take the opportunity to stop and just spend some one on one with both your family and your God.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to make time for yourself. Above all, when you pray, meditate, or spend time with your family - even when you're doing the things that others want to do; you need to see that as really for yourself. And that old saying is so true, "If you don't take care of yourself, you can't take care of anyone".

Start setting aside a few minutes each day just for yourself. You can think, pray or simply clear your mind. It's okay to start out just making a shopping list for later that day - the idea is to stop doing everything and just be alone and at one with yourself for a short period of time. Instead of watching television for ten minutes or logging on the internet to check your e-mail, use that time instead solely for yourself.

You'll find that you're a healthier and happier person, as well as able to do a better job caring for yourself or your family when you put your own well-being as a priority.

Always Set Aside Plenty Of Time For Laughter

You may be very familiar with the old adage that laughter is the best medicine. Thinking back on various times in your life, you may even be able to pick out certain situations where laughter really did help you to get through a time that would have otherwise been unbearable. Just think of what a boring and bland place this universe would be if there were no laughter. Then, think about what you can do to bring laughter into your life as well as the lives of others around you on a daily basis in order to enrich your life experience.

Many people will say that God must have had a decent sense of humor once you loot at some of his creations. Take a little bit of a hint from his sense of humor and act in your best interest to make laughter and light-heartedness a part of your regular routine. This may include being silly with your children at the end of a long day or even telling a fun and upbeat joke to a co-worker as you are heading into a meeting that is destined to be long and involved.

Laughter has been shown to bring people together in all sorts of situations. As a human being, you have the amazing ability to communicate and bond with others, with laughter being a key part of your personality. Keep things light and fun, always remembering that there are plenty of things in life that are well worth laughing about.

Never Be Afraid To Try Something Different

One of the many things that make us incredible as human beings is that we are all so very different. Although we may look similar, think in familiar ways and even believe in some or many of the same things, there are slight and incredible differences that can really set us apart as individuals. Instead of fighting your differences, you should always think of embracing them. After all, your differences are what actually makes you, you!

Millions of people always end up at a turning point somewhere in their lives when they wished that they had a little bit of direction to help them out. Perhaps you are stuck in sort of a rut when it comes to your career and you feel as though you could really use some major life changes. However, often times the thought of such changes and making things different can be very frightening when you are used to having things go a certain way in your life.

Instead of battling against your differences head on, you may just see that the best thing that you can do is find a way to embrace your differences and really make them shine. Some of the most important and influential people in today's world have noticeable differences that make them into the amazing human beings that they are. You too are amazing, differences and all. Once you realize that, you can then build on anything in your life that sets you apart from the crowd and make it work to your advantage.

Forgiveness is Good for the Soul

Take a moment this Easter and if you have someone in your life that you are holding a grudge against, take a moment this Easter Sunday and forgive them in your heart. Whether or not you want to tell the person is entirely up to you, but the Divine will know that you have let your strife go and you have forgiven the person that has hurt you.

It takes a lot of effort to remain angry at someone. You have to dwell on the reasons why, remember things said in anger that you may or may not have truly meant, hateful things and actions said and done towards you - and all you have left are bad thoughts and you spend time rehashing the situation. All of that takes time and it is very negative. The time is now to let it go.

For one last time, look at the situation just for argument's sake, consider that the other person may have been correct and try to see their side of the situation, it may give you an entirely new perspective. Then sit down and write a letter either by hand or on email and hash out the situation and say everything you want to say no matter how hateful, rude or foul - the idea is to get it out. Then sleep on it. The next day, get up and read it and then delete it or tear it up and throw it away.

Now, forgive the person. You've said all you want to say and now is the time to let it go - it doesn't matter if their ears heard your words or their eyes read them - the fact is you got those feelings out and it's time to move on.

Believe In ...You!

I talk a lot about not letting negativity into your life. It is so important that you take that to heart. Negative people can take you down a negative path in life that is filled with strife and regret. Negativity can also make you physically and mentally ill.

If you find that you are constantly fighting one crisis after another, it's time to stand back and take stock of the live you're living. Ask yourself very honestly if you're living the right kind of life. How much of this drama in your life are you creating for yourself? If someone else is making your life difficult, it may be time to consider living your life without that person in it.

Life is short, too short to be unhappy. Begin to take action to take control of your own life. Remember people only that the control over you that you allow them to have. If you don't allow someone to make you miserable either by telling them how bad they make you feel and getting a change of attitude towards yourself from that person or by removing yourself entirely from the situation, you can no longer be dragged through the maze of confusing and negative feelings.

If you have no support base in the form of family or friends, I want you to remember you are never truly alone. The Divine is always there and if you are ready for a chance, ask for one. Just be ready to act when your prayers are answered and you'll have a chance to experience a life full of positivity and love.
