Spiritual Bullies

You will encounter these types of people throughout your life. These types of people say they have a deep belief in the Heavenly Spirit, however if you say you feel you're being drawn one way or another by Divine guidance, they will in essence rain on your statement and tell you all the ways that absolutely can not be.

It's not that they don't believe in Divine guidance, it is simply a case of their own jealously at your shoulder being tapped instead of theirs or it is their own fear that they may not be as deeply spiritual as yourself. In retaliation, they will tell you that you are wrong, mistaken or outright crazy.

If you truly feel the tap of the Divine, follow it. You may be given a path to walk that is winding and strange to you, but if you walk it you will be showing a new way, new people and the purpose of your journey will become clear. Sometimes it will be to learn an important lesson to grow as a person, other times it will be help someone in a roundabout way - either way - if you listen to the spiritual bullies or ignore that tap on your shoulder from the Divine, you will be cheating yourself out of a once in a lifetime experience.

Don't let anyone negate you from your path, if you feel the need to go forth and answer a calling - do so and never let negativity hold you back - you are a child of God and know that your Father will never ask too much of you - only what you're truly capable of doing.

Being Truly Thankful

It's easy to look around your life and not be happy with your life. You may feel buried under bills, stressed out to the max about your job and having trouble reaching your children. You and your spouse haven't had a one on one conversation in so long you aren't even sure what you can talk about.

That's taking your life and people around you for granted. Stop for a moment and look back at what you're attained in this life and honestly consider the people who have helped you. If you haven't taken the time lately to show the other people in your life how important they are to you. Choose one person each week and do a little something for them. It doesn't have to be extravagant or over the top - just make it heartfelt and genuine.

Be good to yourself above all. Instead of sitting in front of the television, rediscover a hobby that you used to enjoy. Part of getting the stress out of your life is to manage your time so you're not hurried and rushed. Make of list of the things you do every day and decide what is really important and what tasks can be rescheduled.

Be thankful for what you have and share your new mindset with those around you - it's catching!

Living Peaceful

Many people mistake living peaceful with putting up with abuse. Living peaceful doesn't mean you allow anyone to push you around, abuse you or step on your will. It means you strive to live without drama or strife to the best of your ability.

Living with negativity can make you physically ill and should be avoided. If you have negative elements in your life such as a spouse or other close loved one that is negative and abuse towards you or you engage in habits that are bad for your body - you need to embrace living peacefully and get to the bottom of why you allow this in your life at this time.

Do you truly feel you deserve to be treated in a manner that is unhealthy? Absolutely not. Remember you were created in the image of the divine and you should be regarded with respect. Begin to heal yourself through a positive mind set. Invite positivity into your life and you'll begin to see changes in yourself. You will grow stronger and begin to embrace living peacefully more and more.

It takes practice but you can do it, strive to begin living peacefully.

Be Thankful

When you have bills up to the ceiling, bill collectors calling on your telephone, angry letters demanding payment, a thankless job that you don't get paid enough to do and times just seem hard it can seem hard to be thankful for the things you have.

Look around yourself and count what you do have. If you have a roof over your head, food on your table and a place to lay your head - that's a start. Expand your list towards people that love you in your life, your family and friends. Consider who you can count on and who always has your back.

You have possessions that mean things, you have sentimental photos and more. If you have a pet in your life - you're truly wealthy - no one will love you more unconditionally than you're animal companion.

Think about your education, your job if you're employed.; Think of the jobs you've had and what you've learned from working. Even if the job ended on a sour note - you still took away at least one valuable lesson from the experience. Expand that to consider the roughest times of your life - no matter how bad it was - you got through it and came out stronger.

And the biggest of all, consider that the Divine always watches over you and remember no matter how you feel about life - you are loved.

Has God Turned His Back On You?

In truth, it hasn't happened. Indeed you'll find when you the most alone in the world and the most vulnerable - the spirit of the Divine is closer than ever and giving you strength to overcome obstacles in your life.

Yes it can certainly seem that there is a God that doesn't care when people are taken unfairly from you, a job that seemed it would last and then didn't and when the person you thought you'd be with forever turns out to not be such a great catch - it's easy to blame all those things on a vindictive God that is punishing you but that's not really the case.

Unfortunately, we set ourselves up for a lot of our own hardships, running with a bad crowd, doing things the easy way - can lead to a path that isn't healthy or productive for us. Certainly no one asks for cancer or to lose a loved one and in those hard situations you need to reach deep and ask for strength to be given. Those are tough lessons to learn and they hurt a lot but through it you can find the compassion to help others in a similar situation get through it.

When you feel that God has turned his back on you and your prayers aren't being heard, I promise He is listening to your every word, he just wants you to put a little effort into your situation too. Stay strong and continue to move forward and you'll see miracles happen.

Dealing with Hard Situations

At one time or another in your life you will experience a hard situation. It's not because the Divine feels the need to punish you or you've been a bad person; it's because through hard times we grow as people.

If you look back through your life, no matter how young or old you are; you will see that after every trial and tribulation you came out not only wiser but stronger. It could have been from a bad relationship where you were verbally or physically abused. Not only do you now know the warning signs of that type of behavior you can also recognize it in others and perhaps even help someone else in the same situation. Looking back at a situation like that, you can see that were may not have been strong enough to help yourself in that sort of situation, but you grew stronger because of it and eventually did.

A hard physical illness or injury to overcome is another way that we get stronger in body, mind and spirit. Once you overcome a physical obstacle; again looking back you will see how far you've come as a person and you gained new insight.

When you're in the middle of a hard time, step back a bit and ask yourself what you should be learning from the experience, and remember, if you need help - ask and it will be given.
